Dial Architecture

Engineered
Layer by Layer

A watch dial is not a single surface -- it is a composition of substrate, finish, print, applied indices, lume, and logo, each chosen to create a specific visual and tactile experience.

From the base material to the final lacquer coat, we provide 2D drawings and physical prototypes for your approval before mass production begins.

Substrate

02

Finish

03

Print & Indices

Tooling & Development Cost

When Does Mold / Tooling Cost Apply?

Standard flat dials, standard printing, and common colour finishes usually do not require additional tooling investment. However, special dial structures may require dedicated tooling during development.

May Require Tooling

Embossed patterns, custom stamped textures, applied indices, custom metal logo badges, skeleton cutouts, or multi-layer dial constructions.

Quoted Separately

Tooling cost depends on design complexity and will be confirmed before sample production. We will always explain the reason before charging any development cost.

Applied Metal Badge

A separate metal element bonded to the dial.

Laser Engraving
